IMPORTANT!
Is Fenway within walking distance from Pags??? I'm trying to buy tickets for the 2nd of October for me and some of my friends from school and it's completely wrong to go to Boston and not include Pags. Only thing is, I have no clue how to get around the city and want to avoid driving as much as possible.

Or, alternatively, you could take the MBTA subway, from Kenmore square (which is where Fenway is) and go inbound to the Haymarket stop. All on the green line, so no need to do train line change overs. A good idea, except for the massive crowd after a baseball game trying to get on the "T". Something tells me this 15 minute "T" ride would take close to the 55 minutes that it would take to walk.
From Haymarket to Pag's is a 5 minute walk.
Also, there is a 50/50 chance that the green line train you get on at Kenmore will only go as far as Government center. Not a big deal, as Government is the stop before Heymarket. Would add another 5 minutes to your walk to Pag's.
The MBTA cost $2 per person. If you go this route, be sure to get a "charlie ticket" at any "MTBA" station for all your rides. If you try to get a charlie ticket right after the baseball game, forget it, those machine's are 20 people deep.
Getting a charlie ticket is no more complicated than getting cash out of an ATM. The machine takes cash, credit, or debit.
I have no clue what a cab would cost. I've actually never taken a cab in Boston in my life.
Good luck.

I am sure Mikayla would volunteer to be your personal "T" guide person. You can see Fenway from her dorm so maybe you could meet up with her after your game and she can navigate you around if you are going to do the subway route instead of a cab!
Good Luck!
You plug in the address of where you are, and where you are going, and it gives you exact walking directions + subway directions!
I would literally be lost without it.
Ha Ha!!!
If you park near Fenway, you'll have a bear of a time getting out. Kenmore square area after a game is jammed.
If you park near North end, then you have the crowd of Fenway and the "T" rush to deal with to get back to your car, or a 55 minute walk. Both are not so great to deal with.
An alternative is to park half-way inbetween (i.e. Coply Square). That would give you an easy "T" ride to north end for dinner, and easy "T" ride from North end to Fenway for the game. And a shorter walk from Fenway to your car to exit Boston. It would provide a relatively quick access to route 90 (mass pike) for a short trip over to route 93 to get you on your way home.
Oh, and by the way, I think this post now wins the Scaduto blog aware for most comments.
